| 2009/2010 Basketball Update |
For the 09-10 season, the club only has two boys teams playing in the NEPL:

15/16 (Goebig)
Good luck to both teams! Home games are on Monday nights at Shissler.
It is sad to announce, but we will no longer hold registration for basketball, due
to lack of interest over the past three years. We have been asked by a few
people if they can put together a team and play out of the club; this is fine, but
teams will have to absorb the entire cost. For example, if costs stay the same
next season and each team has a minimum of eight players, 12 & under would
be $79 each, and 13 & up would be $92 each.
We will not have an in-house program either; only 18 children signed up for
2009. We are considering holding a free program for boys & girls ages 5-9
years old in September. It hurts to see this sport fizzle out. In the 90s, we
maintained 15-17 teams. Maybe over the course of time it will make a
comeback.
