Fishtown Athletic Club: Mission Statement
Fishtown A.C. is an organization chartered in 1964 to promote youth development through sports activities. The organization is governed by a volunteer board of directors with officers elected on an annual basis. A quarterly newsletter is distributed to the families regarding current events.
Fishtown A.C. currently sponsors Indoor and Outdoor soccer, basketball, and baseball/softball teams. Our motto is "Today's Children are Tomorrow's Adults". Our teams are provided with a safe and supervised environment to learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship. Our teams are filled through open registrations announced in our newsletter, website, and community newspapers to provide all children the opportunity to participate.
The goal of our programs is to provide a safe and family-like environment in which any child wishing to participate has that opportunity.
